Desarrollo de un dispositivo para el aprendizaje del abecedario en Braille para personas de 3 a 5 años con discapacidad visual

Braille is a system that integrates letters and characters by means of a relief on a surface for the learning of blind people; This process becomes complex for teaching children who have this special ability and hinders their learning. With this precedent a device has been developed that allows them to learn this system, but through interactive games and without the presence of a tutor all the time. This project is framed in a qualitative - interpretive approach and proposes the design of a device with free hardware boards and audio player, all this is armed in a model made of wood (MDF), and elaborated by laser cutting so that the student place sticks in the holes of the model and this in turn will return the letter entered through audio coding between hardware and software, allowing you to advance through levels and verify your progress through a database stored in the cloud maintaining control of their close relatives and / or legal guardian of the person with special abilities (VISUAL). This approach will finally describe the results obtained with the device, as well as the conclusions and recommendations for the users.

This thesis named as DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE LIBRARY seeks to improve the service of the library at the South American Institute of Technology in the city of Cuenca. The need arises to better and timely manage the books that students or teachers request. The system seeks to improve the management of the library will provide a good service to students or teachers who need the requested information and help contribute to the learning process of their training. For the development of the management system, the SCRUM methodology is applied, which is specifically indicated for short-term projects, where results are needed soon and the requirements are changing since it allows innovation, flexibility, competitiveness, and productivity, taking take into account the phases of the SCRUM methodology that helps the development of the system for the library of the South American Institute of Technology. The implementation was carried out by using the programming language in PHP with the PHPRAF tool and using MYSQL as the database manager of PHPMYADMIN. The development of this library management system will improve the service to students who control the loans of books that recognize one of the difficulties solved by the better control of the loan of the books that students make for the development of books. subjects in a certain period of time that I need it and allows the teacher to give enough time to deepen research topics, avoiding the conformities of students, teachers and administrators. For the development of this research work, they are summarized with a proposal for an ISO standard and life cycle that allows recognizing the need to generate quality solutions, which have approaches focused on the need of people who develop projects. In 1990 it emerged as an alternative to agile methodologies, taking into account North America "SCRUM". The use of the SCRUM methodology shows a dynamic and flexible development by which it has allowed to develop the library management system.
Desarrollo de una aplicación móvil para el aprendizaje de niños de 3 a 5 años para la Institución Educativa “Nova”

Education today is very important and much better if we encourage children to their feedback at a young age. There are many ways to help children with their concentration and motivation to learn from which we have taken the technological way using mobile and robotic means as an incentive for their preparation and with these arouse children's interest. Therefore, it has been decided to develop a mobile learning application for children from 3 to 5 years of age for the educational institution “NOVA”, using a robot that serves as a complement to the system and that this is easy to use for the child. In this application we will integrate voice recognition for the different learning modules by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Ecuador and according to the teaching of the child's tutor also applying robotic principles to awaken the interest of the child and motivate him to follow learning and moving through the different modules. The union of these two themes results in an interactive and didactic mobile application for children of the aforementioned ages, which is a means for teaching and learning of children which through the use of the various modules established will have to perform activities proposed by the academic tutor in order to obtain a learning result.
Diseño e implementación de un sistema web de gestión de habitaciones para el hotel “Paraíso” en la ciudad de Azogues

The Hotel Paraíso is a company that provides lodging service to national and foreign people, and in this way contribute to tourism in the city of Azogues thanks to its excellent service and its strategic location. In order to improve the service in the company, the titling work proposes the design and implementation of a web room management system, which will allow for better customer management, room availability, service consumption control, inventory control, streamline processes and improve citizen service. For the development of this work, the requirements were raised through techniques to obtain information that is relevant for the creation of the system, then the database modeling was carried out, with the help of entity relationship diagrams. Once the database was established, sequence diagrams, states, use cases were made; For a better definition of processes, a previous user interface design of each type of screen was made. The development stage of the proposal follows the RUP methodology, used for the analysis, implementation and documentation of object-oriented systems.

The present thesis project consists of developing and implementing a web control system for records of the student counseling department of the Benjamín Ramírez Educational Unit, since currently the Educational Unit does not have a web system for the control of data sheets. the students that enter the department and need the intervention of the Psychologist to be able to make the entrance of the student and this is done manually, that is why the development of a web system for the control of the cards was proposed since This system will be easier and the information of the student entered will not be lost since the Psychologist could upload the files in the web system and these will be stored in a database, for them there are several forms, the main feature of the system is the ease of create a file for the student's entry, in addition the cards will be made in Word format.

This thesis carries out the analysis and evaluation of information assets of a company, based on the Octave-S Methodology designed for PYMES and with 100 employees or less. It also emphasizes the need for a good practice plan as a measure to achieve the established objectives and safeguard your information to avoid economic losses. This methodology was used to show that in the company there are quite vulnerable information assets from the hardware, to the software and that decisions must be made for your security in each department that handles the valuable information for the company. The document presented, presents the problem, the justification, the general objective and the specific objectives. The first chapter presents the theoretical framework to guide us towards the work that will be done and on which it was based to do it. The second chapter allows to know about the Octave-S Methodology that was used for risk analysis within the Referee Industry. Chapter three puts us in the current state of the company, thus developing the Octave S Methodology implemented for the study of the vulnerabilities of the company, through tables and tables that show percentages of information security. In the fourth chapter, based on the results obtained through the previous analysis, a Good Practices Plan was developed that will support the company to keep their data safe. A proforma is carried out in the same way for the company to focus on prices and needs within its work areas, to implement the solutions. The conclusions of the thesis developed are written and the final recommendations are stated.

This graduation work contemplates the technical feasibility study of an ISP using the latest technology material such as antennas, routers, cabling, telecommunication towers, and renewable energy, covering in this way the demand for internet service with quality and low costs in the San Fernando canton. For this, this study will help to know technical aspects necessary for the implementation of an ISP such as coordinates of the place where to build the infrastructure for the antennas, the type of antennas that will be used, the link simulation with a successful connection, and the coverage range of each antenna or node, also an economic study that shows the amount of money to be invested in the project, in the market study the structure of the ISP company is considered, and finally the legal feasibility study details all the processes and procedures to be followed to obtain the permit from ARCOTEL.

What we help a patient to carry out a better control of the intake of all the foods assigned by the nutritionist in his daily diet, we also help the doctor or treating person to know more quickly everything that the patient consumes daily food, since in an automated and graphic way the application will deliver all those reports of what the patient is eating daily. The tools used in the development are: for the database it is implemented with FIREBASE, for the programming of the application IONIC modifications were used with various icon repositories, free libraries to create the graphics, date handling, etc.

Perform the distribution and control of students who attend pre-professional practices, are the tasks that most delay the staff facing these activities of the Software Development Career of the Institute of South American Technologies of the city of Cuenca, where these processes are currently They are made manually, so an information system was made that allows the automation of these processes, reducing time and effort. Technologically, the tools that LARAVEL provides for the development of Web applications were used, using the PHP programming language, managing the database through MYSQL Workbench and managing the conceptual model of the same medium, which allowed the concept to be applied for web development. Emphasizing, the project, in the end, highlights the importance of studying the areas, competencies, work and academic skills in students of professional practices as a mediator of the requirements that companies today are demanding in these students in terms of application for a call for professional practices and the execution of professional practices agreements between the management of practices and the companies themselves, a fact that helped a lot in the effective design of the product to be shown. With the implementation of this system it is expected to improve each of the activities carried out by the staff.

The use of mobile applications in smart devices over time has had a high impact on the automation of various processes such as the commercial industries or industries that focus on selling a product, among them the business of the food where the use of them makes the service provided in restaurants more efficient and comfortable for customers. There are many proposals for automated services in food sales sites that are focused on delivery service or rather known as home delivery. With this application that seeks to focus on service within the restaurant, the main objective is to improve attention and reduce order delivery times. The main goal of a mobile application is to provide comfort to the user who uses it in addition to fulfilling the objective for which it was created, that is, creating an application that meets the business objective is not the only important thing, but with She can also present in the end an easy-to-use, predictable application with a user-friendly design that uses it, for which the use of IONIC will be of great help to create an application with this description, thanks to the fact that IONIC is Multiplatform and versatile in the construction of interfaces and components and with the help of a FIREBASE database. The use of the mobile application inside the restaurant shortens the waiting time of the consumer as well as generates expectations about the new innovative way of placing an order, we streamline the staff, the administrator or manager has the ability to manage your restaurant in a more comfortable way allowing even that this is not present in the restaurant, since the application will facilitate you to take care and observe in a timely manner how your business is going. In a bar graph of attention that influences how the waiter's behavior was to the client and the waiting time to reach the final objective that is to deliver the prepared dish to the client, the results obtained show that the client obtains his order in a degree of about 5 minutes less than without using the application in addition to showing remarkably that the good attention of the waiter was captured by the consumer.

This work aims to develop a risk analysis for the Four Points by Sheraton Cuenca Company based on the MAGERIT methodology allowing to provide an adequate security solution for the most important assets, focusing on creating preventive measures to reduce the probability of incidents and contributing with the education of the employees that handle sensitive information in the company. The project is made up of six chapters, with the following content: The first chapter presents the problem to be solved by asking questions to establish a start in the development of the project, the scope and limitations are defined. In the second chapter there is the elaboration of the theoretical-conceptual framework to define the theoretical foundation of the project and to establish the bases of its development specifying the most relevant concepts. The third chapter presents the methodologies chosen for the development of the risk analysis and the justification of the choice based on the requirements of the organization. In the fourth chapter there is the analysis and interpretation of the results that were made known through the development of the project, the analysis of the results of the survey and the safety shortcomings found in the risk analysis. In the last chapter, the stages and phases used for the development of the proposal are presented in detail, proposing the solution of risk mitigation and the creation of a manual of good practices aimed at employees who handle confidential company information. Finally, the schedule of activities, conclusions, commendations, bibliography and annexes are found that show the results of the project application.
Aplicativo web como herramienta de gestión y ayuda en el campo de terapias de dislalia tratados en CDPD-GAD de Sígsig

This title project was born from the need to incorporate a digital system that could improve efficiency in the treatment of dyslalia, since el Centro Diurno de Cuidado y Desarrollo Integral (CDPD – GAD Sigsig) so far uses methods management and verbal learning. The objective was to develop a tool that improves the management and organization in the information and monitoring of patients in the therapy process, thus offering a dynamic and interactive method. As system capabilities, patient data control and retrieval was improved, a record of assessments was generated, with load and storage of material. For the development of the web application Laravel was used as a development framework, being necessary to address programming knowledge in Php. In addition, SCRUM was applied as an agile methodology to control and facilitate development processes. The use of the digital system allowed the therapist to improve the management of their patients, evaluations and treatment material in a more organized and efficient way, reducing search time and innovating new teaching methods.

The meaning of security has expanded over time, due to the development of new technological information systems, protecting confidentiality and the information process, which have become strategies that control the security of web pages, and also those of the companies. In order to minimize these security problems, companies must develop a security plan that helps detect vulnerabilities on the website, one of these is the ISO / IEC 27034 standard, which is an important guide to protect information. For the present in the city of Cuenca, investigate three companies, see if the time to develop web pages, implement the proper functioning of the CID in computer systems, and know if it develops the ISO / IEC 27034 standard, following the steps to analyze the Web page security in order to help the commercial processes they have, through investigations it was announced that companies have some security problems, including vulnerabilities and attacks, which can lead to a leak of important user information. This paper proposes a security manual for web pages, which helps determine that a web page meets the requirements required to have a correct development, which aims to determine if a web page meets the necessary security steps which imposes the ISO / IEC 27034 standard.
Sistema para la gestión de procesos en el área de hospitalización de la Clínica Veterinaria Fernández de Córdova

With the design and implementation of a mobile application, we improve the accessibility to the information of the Fernández de Córdova Veterinary Clinic, saving response time, a reliable means of verification of medications, and greater ease when consulting patient data hospitalized.

The present work of qualification consists in the development of a system that allows the Department of Quality Management of the Catholic University of Cuenca, to certify its quality taking as reference the quality management systems and the control panels, in such a way that can have accurate information and in time for decision making, said system will be carried out based on the ISO 9001: 2015 regulations, implementing modules of a control panel for the management of indicators in an automated way, as well as the implementation of improvements based on indicators and the QMS. The methodology used for the development of the System is RUP, which provides techniques that must be followed by the members of the development team, in order to increase their productivity in the development process. Each of the requirements made within the project has allowed us to achieve the results to meet each of the objectives set and thus obtain.

In addition, lowering expenses a bit in terms of telephony is a factor that they need to attend because they have one line per location; as a company, they have the vision of continuing to expand, so it is ideal to centralize the communication so that it can redirect calls directly between the departments of both the main premises and the branches that the company owns so that confidentiality, integrity is maintained , availability without forgetting the security when interconnecting the premises.
