- ItemGuía turística en formato 360 de las casas patrimoniales emblemáticas de la ciudad de Cuenca(Instituto Tecnológico Superior Sudamericano, 2020) Silvia Mercedes Zapatanga ArichavalaCuenca is the third largest city in Ecuador and capital of the Province of Azuay and Region 6. Its official name is Santa Ana de los Cuatro Ríos de Cuenca and was founded by the Spaniard Gil Ramírez Davalos, on April 12, 1557. The city of Cuenca in Ecuador has a historic center with exceptional qualities that has allowed its recognition as Cultural Heritage of Humanity in December 1999, declared by UNESCO to recognize the "universal and exceptional value" of its Historic Center; its Colonial and Republican architecture is in harmony with the unique identity that is the result of the successive generations of indigenous, European and mestizos who have earned it such recognition, committing ourselves to forge a conscience of conservation. Cuenca has a great mix of construction and decoration styles. Its Historic Center is constituted by a city of colonial airs, but that is really republican, since most of its attractive constructions come from the 19th century. There are also some buildings of the 18th century, especially the two cloistered convents, that of El Carmen and that of the Immaculate Conception, part of the old Cathedral, and a few private houses. But what is particularly attractive is the homogeneous air of the whole, only altered by some displays of shocking modernity, in buildings of the 50s and 60s, of the 20th century. It is for this reason that it has been given to create a digital tourist guide that aims to publicize the different houses that are sites with great architectural value for the development of tourism, identified from anecdotal events from different eras and historical events of the city, being this a new option of tourist offer. The research that I have proposed begins with the collection of historical data, its culture, the way of building throughout history and urban conformation.
