The project aims to illustrate and produce a book compiling myths about Cuenca to foster a connection between students and their language, given parents' increased access to electronic media and social networks, resulting in screen-based education. To counteract this, research was conducted on theories of color psychology, typography, children's drawing, and legends as tools for oral transmission. Quantitative research tools were applied, including yes/no surveys of fourth-grade students, group interviews with members of the Student Counseling and Guidance Department (DECE), parents, the school principal, and the fourth-grade teacher, as well as direct observation. The results suggest that implementing an illustrated book about myths and legends can be used as educational material to enrich children's cultural identity and stimulate their interest in their own traditions. It is concluded that creating the book generates significant interest in oral and cultural traditions, fosters an atmosphere of discovery, and greatly contributes to the transmission of myths and legends from the Cuenca region, preventing their loss across generations.
