Abstract
This research is based on the elaboration of a didactic material that will allow boys and girls from 4 to 6 years old with an autism spectrum disorder to maximize their development in the language therapies that they receive at the Specialized Center for SENSIS Comprehensive Care in the city of Cuenca. The methodological technique to be used in this research is the qualitative method. This method will allow it to obtain information through the investigation of events or experiences obtained through those experiences. It is worth noting that the therapist in charge of the language therapy area at the aforementioned center confirmed this experience. Investigations were carried out on the most important topics related to ASD, obtaining information related to definitions, diagnoses, symptoms, and the most important materials used to provide language therapies, as well as the graphic design strategies that can be used in the development of this didactic material to solve the identified problem. The creation of the material is grounded in a methodology based on the contributions of Jesse James Garrett and his five approaches. Additionally, it begins the creative phase of the material that will be used in the future by the Center. This creative phase consists of all the information about the graphic design used in the preparation mentioned above, such as concepts, tools, and procedures that must be followed to solve these problems.

Esta investigación está basada en la elaboración de un material didáctico que permitirá a los niños y niñas de 4 a 6 años que presentan Trastorno del Espectro Autista, maximizar su desarrollo en las terapias de lenguaje que reciben en el Centro Especializado de Atención Integral SENSIS de la cuidad de Cuenca. La técnica de metodología a utilizarse en esta investigación es el método cualitativo, lo cual permite obtener información mediante la investigación de sucesos o experiencias obtenidas mediante las experiencias, en este caso esta información fue facilitada por parte de la Terapeuta encargada del área de terapias de lenguaje en este centro. Se realizaron investigaciones sobre los temas más importantes a cerca del TEA, en este caso se obtuvo información de definiciones, diagnósticos, los síntomas que presentan de acuerdo con la edad, y lo más importante los materiales que utilizan para brindar terapias de lenguaje, así mismo las estrategias de diseño gráfico que pueden ser utilizadas en el desarrollo de este material didáctico con el fin de solventar la problemática que fue identificada. Para la creación del material, se aplica una metodología basada en los aportes de Jesse James Garrett, aplicando sus cinco enfoques. También inicia una fase creativa del material que será utilizado a futuro por parte del Centro, en el que consiste toda la información acerca del diseño gráfico utilizado en dicha elaboración, como conceptos, herramientas a utilizar y cuáles serán los procedimientos que se debe seguir para así solucionar estas problemáticas.
