Abstract
The creation of web pages nowadays is one of the most used technological means that have evolved, becoming the most popular means of communication in the world. Many companies use this type of technology to promote their different products or services. The purpose of this project is to create a virtual tourist guide using the web pages for the Sígsig canton in where the different tourist, cultural and natural attractions that deserve to be known will be promoted. This tour guide will effectively help to find tourist information for the Sígsig canton, as well as promoting tourism in a better way and raising awareness of the cultural wealth of the canton.

La creación de las páginas web hoy en día es uno de los medios tecnológicos más utilizados y que han ido evolucionando llegando a ser el medio de comunicación más popular en el mundo. Muchas compañías usan este tipo de tecnología para promocionar sus diferentes productos o servicios al público. Este proyecto tiene como finalidad crear una guía turística virtual empleando las páginas web para el cantón Sígsig en el cual se promocionarán los diferentes atractivos turísticos, culturales y naturales los cuales ameritan ser conocidos. La guía turística ayuda a facilitar de forma eficaz la búsqueda de información turística del cantón Sígsig, además de promocionar de mejor manera el turismo y dar a conocer la riqueza cultural del cantón.
