Sistema predictivo de gestión integral de flotas y control de mantenimientos en la Cooperativa CIFA Internacional, Machala – Ecuador

| dc.description | Introducción: la Cooperativa de Transportes CIFA Internacional, en Machala, lleva su flota de buses de manera manual, con registros en papel y un mantenimiento reactivo que no aprovecha los datos que el propio vehículo produce mientras opera, lo que termina provocando fallas imprevistas y unidades detenidas fuera de servicio. Objetivo: desarrollar un sistema web integral de gestión predictiva de flotas que reúna el monitoreo del Internet de las Cosas en tiempo real, el análisis predictivo de fallas mediante inteligencia artificial y el control automatizado del mantenimiento, con el fin de reducir el tiempo de inactividad operativa y mejorar la disponibilidad de las unidades. Métodos: la investigación fue aplicada, de diseño no experimental descriptivo-tecnológico y enfoque mixto, y el desarrollo se organizó en siete iteraciones bajo Scrum. La telemetría se capturó con un dispositivo Teltonika FMC150 y un adaptador de lectura del bus CAN, se procesó en un backend modular sobre una base de datos relacional, y la detección de anomalías se resolvió con el algoritmo Isolation Forest. Resultados: el sistema se implementó y se desplegó en producción, y se validó con una unidad piloto que transmitió más de cuarenta y tres mil lecturas reales de telemetría. El modelo, entrenado con esos datos, identificó ocho desviaciones respecto al comportamiento normal e indicó en cada caso el parámetro anómalo, y se verificó el flujo completo desde el dispositivo hasta la notificación. Conclusión: se comprobó la viabilidad de la solución con datos reales de operación, lo que sienta las bases tecnológicas para anticipar fallas y reducir la inactividad de la flota. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: the CIFA Internacional Transport Cooperative, in Machala, runs its bus fleet manually, with paper records and reactive maintenance that overlooks the data each vehicle produces while operating, which ends up causing unexpected failures and units left out of service. Objective: to develop a comprehensive predictive fleet management web system that brings together real time Internet of Things monitoring, artificial-intelligence-based failure prediction and automated maintenance control, in order to reduce operational downtime and improve unit availability. Methods: the study was applied, with a non-experimental descriptive-technological design and a mixed approach, and the development was organized into seven Scrum iterations. Telemetry was captured with a Teltonika FMC150 device and a CAN bus reading adapter, processed in a modular backend over a relational database, and anomaly detection was solved with the Isolation Forest algorithm. Results: the system was implemented and deployed in production, and validated with a pilot unit that transmitted more than forty-three thousand real telemetry readings. The model, trained on those data, identified eight deviations from normal behavior and indicated the anomalous parameter in each case, and the full flow from device to notification was verified. Conclusion: the feasibility of the solution was confirmed with real operating data, which lays the technological foundations to anticipate failures and reduce fleet downtime. | |
