Aplicación web para el agendamiento de citas en el centro del spa COSBELL
(Instituto Superior Tecnológico Particular Sudamericano, 2025) Medranda Calias Mayra Alejandra
The project proposes the design and implementation of a web application developed with open source technologies to optimize the appointment scheduling process at the COSBELL spa center. The identified problem centered on the manual management of reservations, which generates duplicate appointments, loss of information, low operational efficiency, and customer dissatisfaction. The proposed solution consisted of the construction of a digital platform that integrates functionalities such as user self-management of reservations, real-time availability display, automatic reminder generation via notifications, and structured data persistence. The application was developed using the agile Scrum methodology, structuring the work in Sprints that allowed for iterative validation of functional requirements with real users. The main innovation lies in the comprehensive digitalization of the scheduling process, which represents a breakthrough in process automation in micro-enterprises in the aesthetics sector. Data obtained through surveys of users and center staff demonstrate high acceptance of the system, as well as significant improvements in administrative efficiency, error reduction, and improved customer experience. It is concluded that the proposed solution not only addresses existing operational deficiencies, but is also scalable, replicable, and represents a model applicable in similar contexts seeking to drive their digital transformation.
