    Diseño e implementación de una aplicación web para la automatización del control de proformas en la fábrica Confort Muebles de la ciudad de Cuenca

    This research addresses the design and implementation of a web application aimed at automating the management of proforma invoices at the Confort Muebles factory, located in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. The identified problem is the manual management of proformas, customers, and settlements, which leads to recording errors, document duplication, information loss, delays in customer service, and difficulties in monitoring sales processes. Furthermore, the absence of a centralized database limits timely access to information and hinders decision-making. The main objective of this study was to implement a web application to optimize proforma management and modernize the company’s administrative processes. The specific objectives included analyzing the existing processes, designing the system architecture, developing the functional modules, and evaluating the impact of the implemented solution. To achieve these objectives, a web application was developed using modern technologies to centralize information, automate the generation of proformas, and manage customers, inventory, and settlements, while also generating administrative reports. The results demonstrated improvements in the efficiency of administrative processes and a satisfactory level of user acceptance, reflected in a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 75.8. Consequently, the proposed solution contributes to reducing processing time, minimizing errors, improving information management, and strengthening the company’s operational efficiency and competitiveness through digital transformation.
