    Desarrollo de una propuesta editorial e ilustrada como aporte al reconocimiento del colegio Francisco Febres Cordero de la ciudad de Cuenca

    This research shows the development of an editorial and illustrated proposal as a contribution to the recognition of the Francisco Febres Cordero School in the city of Cuenca. In order to fulfill this objective, a research methodology with a qualitative and applied approach was applied to gather information about a phenomenon through observation and direct interaction in order to know the reasons for its effects. It begins with a bibliographic inquiry related to the main contributions on the preservation of culture, the importance of history in societies and its conservation methods. The information gathered is then used to prepare an informative magazine with a cultural and historical focus. For the elaboration of the magazine, we began by applying a data collection instrument to evaluate the general knowledge of the population towards the history of the institution, then, with this information, we proceeded to apply a design methodology based on Design Thinking to solve the problems identified. Among the main results obtained, it was possible to develop the magazine using graphic elements of cultural value for the institution and the city, in addition, several references and historical reviews were added and integrated through graphic design to effectively communicate the contributions of the institution towards the integral development of students and the community of Cuenca.
