    Guía digital sobre la estimulación temprana en el desarrollo psicomotor y afectivo del lactante para madres y padres primerizos del Hospital Humanitario

    The present study aims to strengthen the skills of first-time mothers and fathers at the Humanitarian Hospital Pablo Jaramillo Crespo Foundation (HH - FPJC) through a digital guide. Accordingly, the research responds to a case study where a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope was used to achieve the stated objectives. Primary data was collected through surveys directed at first-time parents at HH - FPJC. From the discussion of results, it was found that the respondents perceive negative aspects in infant care, particularly in how to respond to the motor and emotional needs that the baby requires. Additionally, the emotional burden experienced by first-time mothers and fathers was identified. These findings led to the development of a digital guide on early stimulation in the psychomotor and emotional development of infants. Understanding elements such as the main problems that arise in infant care and identifying related issues allowed for a literature review and interviews with specialists in the field, providing efficient guidance on how to act in such situations. Regarding the guide's design, the program InDesign was used to structure the digital guide, following the seven-phase design process of Ambrose and Harris.
