    Desarrollo de una aplicación móvil en la gamificación que apoye la estimulación cognitiva de niños con síndrome de Down

    The research seeks in a general way the accessibility of people with disabilities to technology, and knowing the scarcity of options available in the academic, in terms of applications, the idea of developing a mobile application for children with Down syndrome that supports cognitive stimulation arises, children who have a different development is necessary to apply a different learning methodology in order to have equality in academics. In the field of special education, institutions have applied different learning mechanisms, with applications or programs specifically designed to develop their activities in a progressive manner. The project aims to develop and implement a mobile application that improves the teaching-learning process of children with Down Syndrome, being accessible and easy to manipulate by teachers. The application will seek to improve the process of learning skills by its users, motivate them and provide an approach to technology applied to education. This consists of improving cognitive stimulation with greater emphasis on memory. Finally, the conclusions allowed to determine that the mobile application performed satisfactory results at the time of the evaluations of different experts in the educational field.
