Este libro, resultado de investigaciones y análisis de necesidades en el área de salud rural, combina aspectos técnicos con una visión humana adaptada al contexto ecuatoriano. Su contenido, estructurado de manera progresiva y accesible, abarca desde el manejo de hemorragias hasta la atención de fracturas y quemaduras, utilizando métodos prácticos y ejemplos cotidianos para facilitar el aprendizaje activo. La obra forma parte de una iniciativa de colaboración entre el Instituto Superior Tecnológico Particular Sudamericano y el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social, garantizando que el conocimiento impartido se mantenga actualizado y validado por profesionales.
