    Creación de un kit de juegos de mesa didácticos basados en la metodología DUA para la enseñanza de Ciencias Sociales en estudiantes de séptimo de Educación Básica en la Escuela Bell Academy de Cuenca

    This research and design project addresses the problem of low interest, motivation, and learning difficulties in social sciences among seventh-grade students at Bell Academy. An initial assessment based on surveys and interviews was conducted, revealing that traditional teaching methods and a lack of visual aids hinder the assimilation of key content. To address this need, a set of educational board games was designed based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Design Thinking. The final proposal consists of the games Mentor, focused on recognizing and learning about the presidents of Ecuador; Travesia, a board game based on Columbus' journey during colonization; and Trivia, a competitive question-and-answer game on key topics in the subject. These resources were validated at the educational institution, showing a change in student learning and motivation.
