    Diseño de una campaña multimedia educativa de sensibilización sobre el cáncer de mama para la Organización FUPEC de la ciudad de Cuenca

    The general objective of this degree project is to design a multimedia educational campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer for the organization FUPEC in the city of Cuenca. For the development of this project, a qualitative research methodology was used, making use of the briefing tool focused on the interview. Within the framework of this methodology, the president of the organization was interviewed, as well as patients and a medical professional. It was also reinforced with Bruce Archer's design methodology, which consists of three stages. These two methodologies were used, since they guarantee a safe outcome of this project both theoretically and practically. The brief was used as a tool to gather the necessary information to help us understand the needs of the organization. The most important results obtained were the history, mission, vision, public objective and values of FUPEC, activities it carries out, philosophy, etc. Information about cancer was also obtained, such as risks, symptoms, what cancer is etc. This information was fundamental for the design of the campaign. Continuously after having obtained the essential information, it was coordinated to elaborate a multimedia educational ampaign to raise awareness about breast cancer, which implies from the creation of the graphic identifier for the campaign, and defined the communicational products, both printed and digital. Also included was the importance of educational campaigns to generate awareness of the timely detection of this disease, since early detection increases the chances of survival.
