    Ingredientes ecuatorianos: Un enfoque práctico para pacientes de La Casa de la diabetes

    The project "Development of an Innovative Recipe Book for the Promotion of Healthy Eating Based on Ecuadorian Ingredients: A Practical Approach for Patients at the House of Diabetes" aimed to develop a recipe book of healthy foods using Ecuadorian products for the patients of the "House of Diabetes" in the city of Cuenca. A mixed research method was applied to obtain this information firsthand, observing and conducting an interview with the director. For the development of these proposals, research was conducted on the topic of a recipe book, acquiring knowledge that helped in preparing the mentioned recipes with attractive and diverse preparations. The result was the satisfaction of the patients at the "House of Diabetes" in the city of Cuenca, and it was concluded that a diet designed for diabetes patients can have a nutritious and versatile variety for those who suffer from diabetes.
