This research was conducted in the city of Cuenca and focuses on enhancing the value of the Plaza de las Flores (Flower Square), based on an appreciation of the work and cultural identity of the flower growers who are part of the Virgen del Tránsito Flower and Plant Association. The main problem stems from the limited social and cultural visibility of their daily work, as well as the public's lack of awareness regarding the processes, history, traditions, and meanings surrounding this emblematic space. The overall objective of the project was to disseminate and reinforce the cultural identity of the flower growers in the Plaza de las Flores through the application of graphic design and audiovisual resources. To this end, a qualitative methodology with a participatory approach was employed, using techniques such as interviews, direct and indirect observation, and photographic and audiovisual documentation, which helped to gather information from the experiences and voices of the participants. As a result, an audiovisual documentary was developed, accompanied by a visual identity, promotional graphic elements, and an identity manual, ensuring visual and communicative coherence. These products allow us to convey the history, traditions, and daily reality of flower growers, generating a positive impact on public perception.
