Diagramación de una revista académica para la Carrera de Enfermería del Instituto de Tecnologías Sudamericano de la ciudad de Cuenca
(Instituto de Tecnologías Sudamericano, 2024) Romel Eduardo Arévalo García
This project is based on quantitative research with the general purpose of designing an academic journal for the nursing career at the South American Institute of Technologies, located in the city of Cuenca. The motivation behind this project arises from the need to provide an editorial medium where medical research and innovative approaches applicable to the field of medicine and related areas can be presented. The objective is to enrich the training of nursing students and provide spaces for interviews and research by local professionals, as well as teachers and students of the institute. Fulfillment of the objective of creating a quality academic journal for the nursing career was achieved through meetings, interviews and trial and error actions. A 3D transtibial prosthesis was designed as a teaching aid using specialized programs such as Blender, Fusion 360 and ZBrush. This product not only contributes to student learning, but also has the potential to meet community needs, being economical, aesthetic and functional as a limb.
