    Guía digital para la promoción de las zonas con mayor atractivo turístico de la parroquia Jadán

    Tourism is becoming an increasingly important activity in Azuay and it is important for everyone in the Jadán parish to get involved in order to generate income through different sources, not just relying on agriculture and livestock, but also exploring other fields such as tourism, where there is much to offer and promote. The purpose of this project is to contribute to the development of tourism in the Jadán parish, which includes both theoretical and technical aspects. In the theoretical section, a deep study of each of the most representative attractions in the parish was conducted, including their location, accessibility, cultural history, characteristics, customs, and traditions. Additionally, the various activities that residents engage in within the territorial extent of Jadán were studied. The technical section of the project includes a gallery of images of the tourist sites, as well as some of the activities that take place there. To develop the project, a general objective was proposed: to develop a digital guide that promotes the most representative natural and cultural attractions of the Jadán parish. Four specific objectives were also identified: to contextualize the theoretical and technical fundamentals of editorial design and tourism, to gather information for the diagnosis and development of the proposed proposal, to analyze the information obtained from the research instruments, and to create a digital tourist guide aimed at promoting tourism in the Jadán parish. As a result, it was determined that the Jadán parish has five major tourist attractions, which were selected based on inventory records issued by the Ministry of Tourism. Additional information was obtained through interviews with the authorities of each of the relevant places, and it was clear that the creation of a digital tourist guide would be valuable for promoting these places. The information gathered revealed that the Jadán parish has great biodiversity, but also some shortcomings such as a lack of signage and suitable trails in some of the attractions. These issues were brought to the attention of the Jadán GAD authority and the leaders of each location. It was observed that the digital guide would be of great use for promoting and disseminating each of these places to encourage tourism development. Creating a digital tourist guide for the most relevant attractions in the Jadán parish will provide useful information for tourists, facilitating orientation and transportation to these places. The digital guide includes general information about the parish, historical notes, tourist attractions, recommendations, and establishments such as lodging and restaurants near the tourist sites.
