The project entitled "Augmented reality didactic material on the laws of Gestalt and its application in the graphic design career for the South American Institute of Technology" aims to develop innovative material that facilitates the learning of the laws of Gestalt. Students who do not understand the laws of the gestalt tend to have many difficulties among these we have the lack of creativity, the lack of coherence in the design, visual communication problems, etc. That is why students are currently able to face these difficulties through the correct application of the laws of gestalt and their application in graphic design. The teaching provided by the traditional method is mainly based on theoretical information, as a result, students do not arouse their interest and motivation during the exchange of knowledge. This project uses the "design thinking" methodology, this methodology involves several stages that are: research, devise, prototype, implement and evaluate. This approach allowed working with the collaboration of students and teachers from the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Sudamericano, in this way the material can be adapted to the needs to help in academic training for both students and teachers. This project developed a didactic material with augmented reality that has allowed students to have an interaction with this technology since it is of great help for the teaching and learning process, since it has allowed them to develop skills, creativity and a visual improvement of the students.
