Cuento ilustrado para promover el reciclaje para la EMAC EP en la ciudad de Cuenca
(Instituto de Tecnologías Sudamericano, 2023) Dayanna Estefanía Barros Cabrera; Noemi Gabriela Maza Jarro
The overall objective of the project was to encourage and promote recycling as a sustainable practice through the creation of an illustrated story entitled "Stream Keeper". The story was designed with an appropriate and pleasing color palette to capture children's attention. The aim of the project is to raise children's awareness of the environmental problems associated with the excessive use of plastics. The story was written in a complementary way and each message and teaching conveyed in the story was supported and justified through extensive research. This ensures that Streamkeeper's storytelling is supported by authentic and relevant information that contributes to a deeper understanding of recycling and environmental issues. It should be noted that this project is based on an educational approach that uses the power of illustrated literature to effectively communicate important messages to children. In this way, it is hoped that children will become agents of change, share their knowledge with their families and neighbors, and have a positive impact on society and the environment.
