The main issue is the lack of tourism promotion for the parish, which has limited its untapped tourism potential. The primary goal is to stimulate the local economy by implementing an adventure and nature tourism route, creating job opportunities and business prospects for residents. The methodology applied for the first two objectives was established by MINTUR, based on their "Manual of Tourist Attractions" and "Manual for the Creation of Tourist Routes and Itineraries." Additionally, surveys were conducted to understand the opinions and needs of the population, ensuring effective promotion of the proposed route. The novel findings include the connection of three natural attractions: Quebrada Oscura, Cerro de Mama Tepal, and Cueva del Inca, offering visitors a unique ecotourism and adventure experience. The results demonstrate the achievement of the objectives through the applied methodology. In conclusion, the implementation of this tourism route has the potential to transform the region by attracting tourists and boosting the local economy, while also contributing to the appreciation and preservation of the natural heritage. By promoting sustainable tourism, the aim is to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy the parish of Santa Ana.
