- ItemPlataforma web de juegos interactivos para el aprendizaje del idioma inglés(Instituto Superior Tecnológico Particular Sudamericano, 2025) Juan Carlos Jara ArévaloThis project, titled "A Web-Based Interactive Game Platform for English Language Learning," addresses the common problem encountered in all foreign language teaching institutions: the lack of technologies that complement current classroom instruction. These same problems have been faced by students who find their studies monotonous, and also by teachers who deal with the attention deficit generated by outdated teaching methodologies. The goal was to develop a website where students could find the syllabuses normally provided by their teachers, while applying gamification methodologies to make learning English more interesting both in and out of the classroom. The methodology combined a purely descriptive approach to investigate the demands and difficulties of the subject through surveys and interviews with teachers working at the institution. The results showed that students improved their perception of the subject, increasing their interest in it and generating constructive learning where they participated in their own knowledge. Its ability to improve the use of educational resources, reduce teaching load, and increase classroom efficiency has been demonstrated. In short, this web platform not only represents a cutting-edge technological advancement in the classroom, but also serves as a key tool for preventing students from becoming bored while practicing the language and improving their understanding of meaningful content.
