The capital of Azuay, Cuenca, on December 1, 1999 was declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity. However, the new generations are unaware of the cultural wealth that this beautiful city possesses. That is why the general objective was to design a board game for the dissemination of cultural heritage, through the use of modern techniques and theoretical foundations of graphic design. The structure and design will be based on the retro-modern style inspired by the 70s and 80s to modernity. The investigative process was carried out following the phases of the Design thinking methodology. As a result, an innovative design of the Morlapolys game is obtained, where the traditions of the city are appreciated through digital illustrations. In the content, slang, bills, gastronomic cards and information cards are used, thus contributing to the dissemination of the cultural heritage of Cuenca
