(Instituto Tecnológico Superior Sudamericano, 2020) Josseline Elizabeth Valdivieso Uguña
Accessible tourism: Guide with integrated visual graphic support (Ecuadorian sign language) for the tourist plant; improvement of good practices in the value chain towards people with hearing disabilities, begins in the author’s need to incorporate a sign language system, focused on improving tourism in Ecuador for people with special-different abilities (Deaf), so that they can have an egalitarian vision, involving both service providers and tourists in general in accessible and inclusive tourism. During the making of this guide, it has been tried to make use of many videos through which, this language can be easily interpreted by those who use the virtual platform. It should be stressed that the development of this project has benefited from the valuable support of APSA (Association of Deaf People of Azuay) who contributed greatly to the realization of this project; also several entities in the tourism sector such as travel agencies, hotels, bars, etc., which can highlight the importance of implementing this type of enterprise in the environment to achieve a tourism development according to the needs of people with this kind of special capacity.
