    Revista interactiva de los lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad de Cuenca para la Fundación Municipal Turismo para Cuenca

    This research is an interactive visual communication proposal to innovate the regular information regarding the current dissemination of the emblematic places of the city of Cuenca. The theoretical approach in this study conceives the new communication technologies (through which the information is disseminated) and interactivity as essential concepts for the development of society. The proposal starts with the need to counteract the social paradigm that is continuously progressing, the communication technologies that have shocked with its evolution, abysmally reforming its consumption and the scarce use of tourist offices and official pages. The study considers the great potential of new technologies as a practical strategy to contribute with a dynamic tool that responds to the current context. Therefore, the objective of the study was to design an interactive magazine of the emblematic places of Cuenca to modernize and update the traditional way in which the Municipal Tourism Foundation for Cuenca promotes the city. From the methodological point of view, qualitative research was performed, we worked with a sample by convenience from two specific departments within the Foundation: The Marketing Department and the Management and Planning Department. The main conclusion obtained was that the illustration remains longer in the memory and seeks to thrill and interactivity considerably encourages retention and simplifies the information.
