Promocionar el mirador turístico Cueva del Puma, ubicado en la hacienda Sarar Tronco, perteneciente al barrio Pinchizana de la parroquia San Joaquín
    (2025) Guazhambo Pasaca, Alex Eduardo
The project aims to promote the tourist viewpoint Cueva del Puma located in the Sarar Tronco estate belonging to the Pinchizana neighborhood of the San Joaquin parish. However, the problem that was identified is the lack of tourist promotion so that the influx of visitors has been limited and the management of the area to face this situation was proposed as an objective to design and evaluate marketing and promotion strategies in order to establish the viewpoint as a tourist destination. The proposed methodology was a mixed approach because field observation, interviews with local actors, surveys at the provincial level were carried out and to complement it, a SWOT analysis was also carried out with tourist benchmarking strategies in order to identify good promotional practices in similar destinations. As a relevant finding, it was identified that the viewpoint has a variety of natural diversity and complementary activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, bird watching, beekeeping and sport fishing, which makes it an ideal destination for ecotourism and adventure tourism. For the first results, a digital marketing plan was designed, which included social media and signage, which allowed for an increase in the recognition of the site and an improvement in the experience of visitors. In conclusion, it was established that the implementation of well-structured promotion strategies has a positive impact on the attraction of visitors and on local economic development, benefiting both the community and the owners of the site. For this reason, the continuity of the promotion plan remains constant, thus maintaining the positioning of the viewpoint within the tourist market.
