The urban legends of Cuenca, a cultural heritage in danger, are undergoing a gradual process of oblivion, especially among the younger generations. This project focuses on the preservation and revitalization of these ancestral narratives, which have experienced a gradual loss of importance in today's society. The generational gap has significantly contributed to the decline in interest in these traditional stories, which used to be fundamental in local culture. With the purpose of reversing this trend, a project is proposed to rescue and revitalize the popular urban legends of Cuenca, through the creation of an illustrated book using Collage Art as an attractive visual tool. This illustrated book is conceived as a fundamental means to rescue these legends from oblivion and reintroduce them into the collective consciousness, ensuring their permanence over time. The implementation of innovative and attractive techniques in the art of collage aims to capture the attention of contemporary generations. This artistic approach will not only preserve an invaluable cultural legacy, but also strengthen local identity and promote the transmission of values and traditions across generations.
