The need arises to better and timely manage the books that students or teachers request. The system seeks to improve the management of the library will provide a good service to students or teachers who need the requested information and help contribute to the learning process of their training. For the development of the management system, the SCRUM methodology is applied, which is specifically indicated for short-term projects, where results are needed soon and the requirements are changing since it allows innovation, flexibility, competitiveness, and productivity, taking take into account the phases of the SCRUM methodology that helps the development of the system for the library of the South American Institute of Technology. The implementation was carried out by using the programming language in PHP with the PHPRAF tool and using MYSQL as the database manager of PHPMYADMIN. The development of this library management system will improve the service to students who control the loans of books that recognize one of the difficulties solved by the better control of the loan of the books that students make for the development of books. subjects in a certain period of time that I need it and allows the teacher to give enough time to deepen research topics, avoiding the conformities of students, teachers and administrators. The use of the SCRUM methodology shows a dynamic and flexible development by which it has allowed to develop the library management system.
