This degree project aims to develop a web system for managing the football championship of the Instituto Sudamericano in the city of Cuenca. It was found that such as planning, participant registration, match scheduling, and result tracking were carried out manually, leading to disorganization, frequent errors, unnecessary use of resource, and inefficiency in tournament administration. In response to this issue, a technological solution was proposed through the design and implementation of a web platform accessible from multiple devices. The research followed a quantitative approach, using structured surveys administered to team captains, along with direct observation during the tournament. They helped identify key needs and validate the system relevance. The project was developed using the Scrum agile methodology, allowing for interactive progress with continuous user feedback. Modern tools and technologies were used in the implementation, including React for the frontend,Kotlin for backend development, PostgreSQL as the database management system, and ClickUp for project, planning and tracking As a result, a functional system was created that automates administrative tasks, improves access to information, reduces human error, and enhances the transparency of tournament management. In conclusion, this proposal represents significant progress in the digital transformation of institutional sports events, strengthening not only administrative efficiency but also student engagement, sportsmanship, and the integration of technology into education contexts.
