This thesis project aimed to design a web application for managing the graduation process at the South American Technological Institute in Cuenca, Ecuador, in order to improve the handling of students' academic and administrative information. The research stems from the institution's existing problem of using disparate and empirical tools, such as spreadsheets and physical documents, which leads to data loss and duplication. The research was conducted using an applied and descriptive research design. The sample consisted of students in the graduation process, coordinators, and faculty advisors from the institution. Surveys and interviews were used as research tools, which proved useful in determining the application's main functional requirements. It has been determined that the designed and developed web application is a technological tool that reinforces the graduation process at the institution, and that it can be used as a basis for future evaluations, based on quantitative indicators in a real environment.
