    The Huiracocha Tutivén Center in Cuenca faces significant challenges due to the lack of sensory and interactive materials for children with Down syndrome, which negatively impacts their overall development. This study aims to develop a sensory book to improve the fine and gross motor skills of children with a mental age of 7 years. Design Thinking design methodology was employed, along with a mixed-approach research methodology, to ensure that the final product meets the specific needs of the target group. The book has been approved by experts in the field and is expected to improve the cognitive quality of the students at the center, thus having a positive impact on the community.
