Aplicación web para la gestión de fichas médicas en la Clínica Veterinaria Betel
(Instituto Tecnológico Superior Sudamericano, 2024) Alexander Gustavo Barbecho Barbecho; Bryan Alexander Encalada Narváez
The use of modern technologies in different areas increases efficiency and reduces common errors; Because the use of software for record management and automatic authentication produces greater organization and accessibility to company data. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to develop an application for the management of medical records at the BETEL Veterinary Clinic in Cuenca, Ecuador. Inefficiency and recurring errors in the management of physical medical records affect the quality of the service provided to the user, so having your own system that automates this process, improving the organization and accessibility of medical information is essential to optimize the time management in records and patient search. The problem is addressed using a descriptive methodology, with a quantitative approach, based on the collection and analysis of data through surveys and interviews with veterinary staff. The project integrates modern technologies such as JavaScript, React and PostgreSQL for the efficient management of medical records in the web application, emphasizing the significant reduction in search and updating time of information, as well as a reduction in errors in the data management. Therefore, with the implementation of the management system, an improvement in the quality of the service offered by the veterinary clinic is expected since this application contributes significantly to the optimization of internal processes that were previously managed on sheets of paper, producing loss of information and low efficiency in data search; benefiting both veterinary staff and clients
