The creation of an illustrated book on eating disorders is a very important part for the community, because it raises awareness among people about the delicacy of this topic, this being a book with striking digital illustrations to attract the reader and induce their reading. In the creation of the book, more was learned about what eating disorders are and how they develop at different ages and circumstances, and we were able to generate an illustrated book in the correct way with digital illustration tools, such as Photoshop; and for the editorial creation and layout of texts, InDesign has been used. The writing of the text and the chapters have been a world of information through which it has been crossed to generate adequate texts with the subject and for which the objective population can identify and feel comfortable with the information; the correct use of chromatics and the type of illustration of the book, is shown as a safe visual environment for the reader. It is hoped that the creation of this book will have a great impact on the knowledge and interest of young people in this subject, to have a more open field of possibilities for professional help and fewer people who must be minimized for suffering from an eating disorder.
